BoomiSight release notes — May 2026

The initial BoomiSight release brings Boomi runtime, deployment, execution, API, connector, and release context into Confluence dashboards and page macros.

  • Space configuration and diagnostics: Configure Boomi access separately for each Confluence space and verify connectivity, runtime and deployment access, execution monitoring, and optional API governance access.
  • Global landing page: Review configured spaces and open product documentation, support, and demo resources.
  • Operational dashboards: Explore Environment Comparison, Execution Dashboard, API Governance, Diagnostics, and Connector Inventory views.
  • Filtering and exports: Filter operational data, review drift and execution trends, and export environment comparisons as CSV or HTML.
  • Macro catalog: Add detailed and compact macros for process, runtime, environment, API, deployment, execution, blast-radius, business-health, release, and integration context.
  • Automatic sync: Refresh Boomi evidence according to each space’s configured interval.
  • Guided macro authoring: Select synced Boomi resources or provide supported IDs and URLs manually.
  • Partial API coverage: Continue using core runtime and deployment views when optional APIM information is unavailable.
  • Marketplace licensing: Paid app surfaces and Boomi data access reflect the installation’s Atlassian Marketplace license state.
  • Token username handling: Accepts raw usernames or Boomi token-auth usernames and stores a normalized username.
  • Credential privacy: The saved Boomi API token is not displayed again after configuration.
  • Clearer access results: Connection verification distinguishes valid-but-limited Boomi identities from complete failures.
  • Optional APIM enrichment: Missing APIM access no longer blocks core runtime and deployment views.
  • Searchable macro configuration: Uses synced Boomi resources when available, with manual ID and URL fallback fields.

None. This is BoomiSight’s first public release.

For a new installation, install BoomiSight from Atlassian Marketplace. In each target space, open BoomiSight Configuration, enter the Boomi account details, choose the required datasets, save, and run Verify Connection & Access.

  • Execution dashboards and execution-backed macros show empty states when the selected Boomi account has no recent executions in the chosen time window.
  • API Governance may show partial enrichment when APIM endpoints are unavailable to the tenant or configured identity.
  • Paid BoomiSight surfaces require a valid Atlassian Marketplace license.
  • Macro auto-conversion depends on Confluence editor behavior. If a pasted Boomi URL does not convert, insert the matching BoomiSight macro manually and configure it with the same resource details.
  • Compact macro layouts can be affected by narrow Confluence columns.
