First Time Space Setup
Use this tutorial when a Confluence space has BoomiSight installed but has not yet been connected to Boomi.
Outcome
Section titled “Outcome”The space is configured, the API token is stored secretly, access diagnostics are visible, and the first dashboard snapshot can load.
Where To Open
Section titled “Where To Open”Open the target Confluence space, then open the BoomiSight Dashboard from the space apps sidebar. If setup is required, BoomiSight shows a setup panel.
Guided Flow
Section titled “Guided Flow”- Open BoomiSight Configuration.
- Enter the Boomi account ID, username, API token, refresh interval, and dataset flags.
- Save the configuration.
- Run Verify Connection & Access.
- Return to BoomiSight Dashboard and confirm Environment Comparison loads with metrics, filters, freshness, and export controls.
Success Checklist
Section titled “Success Checklist”- Stored token state is visible without exposing the token.
- Basic API authentication is available.
- Expected feature areas are available or clearly marked limited/partial.
- Runtime, API, execution, and connector dataset flags match the rollout plan.
- Dashboard snapshot freshness is visible.
