Review Deployment Drift and Export Evidence

Use this tutorial when a release manager, integration lead, or auditor needs a reviewable view of Boomi deployment differences across environments.

Outcome

The reviewer can filter deployment rows, focus on drift, refresh the snapshot, and export the current evidence.

Where To Open

Section titled “Where To Open”

Open the Confluence space, then open BoomiSight Dashboard and stay on Environment Comparison.

Guided Flow

Section titled “Guided Flow”
  1. Review summary metrics: total resources, visible resources, drifted rows, production branch violations, and snapshot freshness.

Environment Comparison controls

  1. Select the relevant environments.
  2. Use Filter resources when the review concerns one application, API, branch, deployer, or notes pattern.
  3. Turn on Drift only when the audience needs an exception list.
  4. Choose Apply.
  5. Choose Refresh when the review requires fresh Boomi data rather than the cached snapshot.
  6. Use Export CSV for spreadsheet or audit processing.
  7. Use Export HTML for a portable visual summary.

Success Checklist

Section titled “Success Checklist”
  • The selected environments match the release or audit question.
  • Snapshot freshness is acceptable for the decision.
  • Drift-only filtering is intentional.
  • Exported evidence is stored according to the team’s retention and access rules.
