BoomiSight Specialist
BoomiSight Specialist is the app’s Rovo agent. It answers from safe BoomiSight facts already available for the trusted current Confluence page or space. Availability depends on Rovo being enabled for the Atlassian site.
Where To Open
Section titled “Where To Open”Open Rovo in Confluence and select BoomiSight Specialist. Keep the relevant page as the conversation context when the question is about that page.
Ask With An Explicit Scope
Section titled “Ask With An Explicit Scope”Use current-page wording for facts that must be genuinely associated with the open page, for example:
- What is the Documentation Health of this page and why?
- Which Process Properties and XREF tables does this documented process use?
- What Boomi API context is available on this page?
Use current-space wording for a broader configured-space question, for example:
- Which pages in this space need attention?
- List a few active process deployments in Production.
- What safe Boomi facts are available in this space?
A current-page answer does not silently fall back to unrelated space-wide facts. A current-space answer can search and aggregate across the complete applicable safe cache, then returns a compact result rather than hundreds of rows.
Freshness, Bounds, And Unknown States
Section titled “Freshness, Bounds, And Unknown States”BoomiSight Specialist is cache-first. It reports freshness, partial data, unknown state, and truncation when those details affect the answer.
- Named lookups search the applicable safe cache before the response window is applied.
- Broad questions normally return totals, summaries, and relevant examples.
- Detailed result lists are bounded. A short list does not mean the agent searched only those records.
- Missing current-page association is unknown or not cached, not zero.
Refresh Actions
Section titled “Refresh Actions”Passive questions do not contact Boomi. A current-page context refresh rereads the current Confluence page only and requires explicit confirmation.
A process-relationship refresh can contact Boomi for the one process selected by the current page. It also requires explicit confirmation and stays bounded to that trusted process context. Review the Rovo action confirmation before approving it.
Safe Answer Boundary
Section titled “Safe Answer Boundary”BoomiSight Specialist can return sanitized display names, structural counts, freshness, safe Process Property/XREF structure, and verified relationship provenance. It does not return Boomi credentials, passwords, raw defaults, allowed values, XREF rows or cells, XML, source payloads, internal identifiers, account identifiers, or raw URLs.
Treat BoomiSight Specialist as a documentation and operations assistant over cached BoomiSight facts, not as a live authoritative Boomi inventory. Validate critical production decisions in Boomi when your operating policy requires it.
