BoomiSight Documentation

Start with the overview, then configure BoomiSight in a Confluence space and run Verify Connection & Access. The getting-started pages explain the dashboards, page bylines, Documentation Health, BoomiSight Specialist, every macro family, and the workflows that turn safe Boomi facts into architecture docs, runbooks, and operational evidence.

Recommended path:

  1. Install BoomiSight and open the space configuration page.
  2. Save Boomi account credentials, dataset flags, and an automatic refresh interval from 24 to 168 hours.
  3. Run access diagnostics so admins know which feature areas are available.
  4. Run Scan Space Pages in Documentation Health when the space needs page-level findings; ordinary dashboard refreshes do not start this scan.
  5. Use the space dashboard to review drift, executions, APIs, documentation health, diagnostics, and connector inventory.
  6. Add macros to Confluence architecture docs and runbooks for focused process, runtime, environment, API, Process Property/XREF, release, and portfolio context.
  7. Use the page bylines or BoomiSight Specialist for grounded current-page or current-space questions, and check freshness or truncation before relying on an answer.
