Help And Support

Use this page when GrafanaSight does not show the expected Grafana content in Confluence.

Check:

  • The Grafana URL starts with https://.
  • The URL points to a Grafana Cloud grafana.net stack.
  • The service account token has not expired or been revoked.
  • The token has read access to dashboards, folders, alerts, annotations, and datasources.
  • The space configuration was saved after testing the connection.

Run a fresh dashboard and alert load from the configuration page. If the count still looks wrong, check whether the Grafana service account can see the same folders, dashboards, and alert rules in Grafana.

Synced GrafanaSight configuration

Check:

  • The Grafana panel URL includes the correct dashboard UID and panel ID.
  • The selected time range contains data.
  • Any required Grafana dashboard variables are present in the URL.
  • The panel can render in Grafana Cloud.
  • The Confluence page has been refreshed after inserting or updating the macro.
Section titled “Confluence Shows A Smart Link Instead Of A Macro”

Edit the page and paste one Grafana URL at a time. Press Enter after each URL and wait for Confluence to convert it. Bulk-pasted URLs may stay as generic Atlassian smart links.

Open GrafanaSight configuration in the same Confluence space and confirm that:

  • The Grafana URL is saved.
  • Token status shows that a token is stored.
  • A dashboard and alert load has completed.
  • The Confluence page has been hard-refreshed.

Confluence page before GrafanaSight is configured

When contacting support, include:

  • Atlassian site URL.
  • Confluence space key.
  • GrafanaSight page or macro type affected.
  • The Grafana dashboard or panel URL, with secrets removed.
  • Screenshot of the GrafanaSight configuration sync status.
  • A short description of what changed before the issue appeared.
