Configure WorkatoSight

WorkatoSight Configuration is available to Confluence space admins.

Configured WorkatoSight settings with dashboard navigation

  • Workato API origin: the HTTPS Workato API origin for the tenant.
  • Browser URL host patterns: Workato hosts authors are allowed to paste into Confluence for macro auto-convert and Workato link detection.
  • Credential: a Workato credential saved through Forge secret storage.
  • Display timezone: the timezone used for cached timestamps in dashboards, macros, and bylines.
  • Refresh preferences: manual and optional scheduled refresh behavior for Workato state facts and API Governance facts.

Use an IANA timezone such as Australia/Melbourne, UTC, America/Los_Angeles, or Europe/London. The configuration screen validates timezone input before saving.

Run diagnostics after saving settings, rotating credentials, or changing Workato permissions. Diagnostics check the configured Workato origin, API Platform access, environment availability, and Confluence page-scan permission.

Some Workato tenants or credentials may not expose every optional API. WorkatoSight reports optional access gaps as a supportable configuration state instead of treating every partial permission as a full outage.

Run a refresh after first configuration so the dashboard, macros, and bylines have cached Workato facts to read.

Scheduled refresh is disabled by default. When enabled, the scheduled trigger runs only for licensed app installations and configured spaces. Documentation Coverage scans remain manual so page analysis never silently mutates Confluence content.
