Configure ChangeGuard

ChangeGuard has no external service credentials or remote backend configuration.

Section titled “Recommended sequence”
  1. Open Overview and complete the setup checks.
  2. Create a Candidate from a Work Type Safety or Regulated Done template.
  3. Select approved Jira Software projects, work types, and workflow transitions.
  4. Save and run all Candidate tests.
  5. Simulate representative allowed and blocked issues.
  6. Publish after reviewing the consequence dialog.
  7. Confirm Health shows the same Active release for the action reader, workflow reader, and snapshot.
  8. Configure the app-owned compliance field, JQL refresh, and UI preflight only where required.

Use a non-production Jira Software project first. UI preflight is advice; action and workflow validators are enforcement truth. Do not rely on the JSM readiness check as JSM enforcement.
