First Time Space Setup
Use this tutorial when a Confluence space has GrafanaSight installed but has not yet been connected to Grafana Cloud.
1. Open GrafanaSight
Section titled “1. Open GrafanaSight”Open the target Confluence space and select GrafanaSight. Before configuration, the app shows onboarding.
2. Open Configuration
Section titled “2. Open Configuration”Open the configuration screen. Enter the Grafana Cloud URL and service account token.
3. Test And Save
Section titled “3. Test And Save”Test the connection before saving. When the test succeeds, save the configuration. GrafanaSight stores the token as a secret, so it will not be shown again after saving.
4. Load Dashboards And Alerts
Section titled “4. Load Dashboards And Alerts”Run the first dashboard and alert load. A healthy first sync should show dashboard count, alert count, organization name, and recent sync activity.
5. Confirm The Space Dashboard
Section titled “5. Confirm The Space Dashboard”Open the GrafanaSight dashboard and confirm that dashboard cards, filters, and alert counts appear.
The space is ready for runbook authors to insert panel, dashboard, alert, status, and annotation macros.
