Install ChangeGuard

You need Jira site-administrator access and an active Atlassian Marketplace trial or subscription.

1. Open the ChangeGuard for Jira listing in Atlassian Marketplace.
2. Start a trial or purchase the app, choose the target Jira Cloud site, and approve the requested permissions.
3. In Jira, open Apps → Manage apps and confirm ChangeGuard for Jira is enabled and licensed.
4. Open Apps → ChangeGuard for Jira. Overview should load and identify your Jira administrator access.

If a subscription becomes inactive, ChangeGuard pauses policy evaluation, background work, simulations, scans, and exports. Workflow validators allow Jira operations so an inactive app cannot trap work in a transition.
