Permissions and Access Diagnostics

BoomiSight does not treat every Boomi permission gap as a total connection failure. Verify Connection & Access checks basic authentication first, then reports which feature areas are available, limited, blocked, or unsupported.

Core authentication uses ComponentMetadata/query as a low-bar probe. Runtime and deployment views need environment, Atom, attachment, deployed package, packaged component, and deployment history access. Execution features need execution-record access. API governance enrichment may use APIM objects when the Boomi tenant and identity support them.

If BoomiSight reports Connected with limited access, review the feature readiness table and enable only the datasets that the Boomi identity is intended to support.
